GeoScore ("we", "us") runs a free tool that checks whether AI systems mention your business for the searches that matter, at usegeoscore.com. This page explains what we collect and why, in plain language. It's not a substitute for legal advice, but it's an honest description of what actually happens.
When you run a GeoScore check, we store: the website you entered, the topic you described, your email address, the score and summary we generated, and basic attribution data (where you came from, for example a UTM parameter or referring page). We do not collect passwords, payment details, or any data beyond what you type into the form.
We use your email to send you your GeoScore report. We may follow up about the report itself. We do not sell your data, and we do not share it with third parties except the AI providers we query (OpenAI, Anthropic, Perplexity) to run the check itself: your website and topic are sent to them as part of a normal API request, the same way any search engine or AI assistant would see a question you typed.
We keep check results and lead data to improve the product and, if you've agreed to it, follow up with you. If you'd like your data deleted, email us (below) and we'll remove it.
Checking your GeoScore involves sending your topic to third-party AI providers (OpenAI's ChatGPT, Anthropic's Claude, and Perplexity). Each has its own privacy practices governing how they handle API requests; we don't control those and encourage you to review them if you have concerns.
We use Crisp, a third-party support processor, to provide customer support and collect product feedback. When you open the chat, Crisp creates a functional session so your conversation can continue as you move between pages or return to the website.
Crisp may process your IP address, conversation content, and any contact details or files you choose to provide, such as your name or email if you share them in the chat. We use this information only to respond to questions, investigate issues and improve GeoScore.
Crisp uses cookies beginning with crisp-client/ to maintain the support conversation, which may last up to six months. With Total Privacy Mode enabled, the Crisp session does not begin until you manually open the chatbox. Nothing is set or stored before that. See our cookies page for the full detail. You can request access to, or deletion of, your conversation data by emailing us below.
